1. What Baseline Is (and Is Not)

Baseline is a personal tracking and insight tool designed to help users understand patterns in their self-reported digestive symptoms.

Baseline:

• Does not provide medical advice
• Does not diagnose conditions
• Does not replace a healthcare professional

All information shown in the app is based solely on user-entered data and is provided for informational purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Baseline.

By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account

You agree not to:

• Share your account with others
• Attempt to access accounts that are not yours
• Use Baseline in a way that interferes with other users or the service

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Baseline may offer free and paid subscription plans.

If you choose a paid plan:

• Payments are processed through the App Store or Play Store
• Subscription terms, billing cycles, and cancellations are managed by those platforms
• We do not store your payment details

Refunds are handled according to the policies of the platform through which you subscribed.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Baseline for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the service
• Use automated systems to access the app without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Data Accuracy

Baseline relies entirely on information you choose to enter.

We are not responsible for:

• Inaccurate or incomplete entries
• Conclusions drawn from incorrect data
• Decisions made based on app insights

7. Availability and Changes

We may:

• Update or change features
• Add or remove functionality
• Temporarily suspend the service for maintenance

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

8. Intellectual Property

Baseline and all related content, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of Baseline without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Baseline is provided "as is"
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for health outcomes or decisions

10. Termination

You may stop using Baseline at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law.
